Who We Are

At the Emory Centers for Training and Technical Assistance, we help our clients and their partners develop the professional skills, evidence-based programs and policy action needed to build healthier communities. Our services span across all public health issues, risk factors, and professional competencies.

We are strategically located within the Behavioral Sciences and Health Education Department of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, amidst many of the country’s leading public health experts and organizations. We're able to leverage Emory University’s infrastructure, operational, and administrative supports, with the flexibility of a small organization to quickly mobilize our staff and partners to meet emerging project-related needs. Since our inception more than a decade ago, we have provided highly-effective training and technical assistance through our experienced staff and a cadre of nationwide consultants.

Our two dedicated Centers, the Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC) and the Tobacco Technical Assistance Consortium (TTAC), have provided capacity-building services to community, state and national programs in all 50 states and territories over the past decade.
