Program Lead, Organizational Development & eLearning

Celia serves as the Program Lead for Organizational Development & eLearning at the Emory Centers. She came to Emory after nearly 10 years at the American Cancer Society in the field of organizational development where she led regional and nationwide learning initiatives including manager training, onboarding, learning management systems, and a corporate university.  Celia enjoys designing and delivering workplace curriculum, facilitating groups of people in training and strategy meetings, and serving as a coach. Her most recent work has centered upon impactful manager and leader development, specifically focusing upon collaborative, peer-to-peer learning that is learner-driven and innovative in the virtual space.  She has spoken at the ATD (Association for Talent Development) International Conference two years in a row regarding her approach to leadership training.

Celia holds multiple external training certifications including Insights Discovery and Crucial Conversations.  She has enjoyed doing independent consulting and has worked with Emory Centers over the years on its LMS platform.  Celia is thrilled to be officially on board with the Emory family after receiving her Master of Divinity at Candler School of Theology in 2005.

Celia lives in Charleston, SC with her husband and two young sons.  When she has spare time again, she looks forward to singing classical music, playing tennis, and reading books that are not authored by Dr. Seuss or Eric Carle.
