Biography

In her role as Project Manager for Evaluation & Networks at the Emory Centers for Training and Technical Assistance, Carissa contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of many training programs and products. She is the instructor for two of our Centers’ online courses, Logic Model Essentials and Fundamentals of Evaluation. Since joining the TTAC team in 2007, she has become an expert in the management of professional networks and communities of practice, such as the Public Health Academy of Oklahoma / OK In the Know initiative, Evaluators' Network, and Tobacco Control Network (TCN). She is known for creating engaging, interactive online trainings and e-communications that are chock-full of useful public health information and resources, and has a weakness for infographics. Carissa is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), and holds an MPH from Emory University. She resides in southern California and enjoys running, camping, beaches, and adventures.
