TTAC and Emory University mark World No Tobacco Day

Emory University's tobacco control initiatives were highlighted in the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH) Friday Letter to commemorate World No Tobacco Day on May 31st. With Emory's 100% tobacco-free campus policy having taken effect on January 1, 2012 and TTAC's leadership in the field of tobacco control for over ten years, the Emory community has demonstrated its commitment to promoting health and reducing the toll of tobacco at the national, state, and local level. TTAC Director Debra G. Morris was also featured in a World No Tobacco Day video produced by Emory's Rollins School of Public Health. In this video clip, Ms. Morris describes the global toll of tobacco and TTAC's role in supporting state and community tobacco control efforts.
