Diabetes Today: Planning for Coalition Action

The Diabetes Training and Technical Assistance Center (DTTAC), in collaboration with the CDC and the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO), has trained staff from 36 local health departments and their coaliton partners in Diabetes Today.  

Diabetes Today: Planning for Coalition Action is a two-day training designed to build the capacity of coalitions to develop and implement action plans for diabetes prevention and control in communities. Congratulations to the most recent cohort trained in the fall of 2012:

  • Purchase District Health Department (KY)
  • Houston Department of Health and Human Services (TX)
  • Duval County Health Department (FL)
  • Tuscaloosa County Health Department (AL)
  • Peninsula Health District (VA)
  • Puerto Rico Health Department
  • Portsmouth Health Department (VA)
  • Cincinnati Health Department (OH)
