CX-Plus is a comprehensive three-phase training that focuses on developing communities of excellence by building strong public health programs at the local level. The training prepares participants to assure that communities have the skills to assess, plan, and implement effective efforts - from tobacco control to nutrition programs - based on best and promising practices.
The Demystifying the World of Public Health Policy training, taught by policy experts, familiarizes public health professionals with how public policy is created to improve public health. Topics are addressed through facilitated discussion of real world situations, in which public health principles are promoted through various forums for policy change, and participants create strategies to change policies that are relevant to their public health concerns.
